Join our team as Head of Network

So we are excited to be expanding our team with a Head of Network position. The core mission will be to connect the BlueYard portfolio family, harness its collective capabilities through best practices / information sharing, manage relationships with service providers / vendors, help run our meet-ups and coaching events — and much more.
Operating from our base in Berlin, your experience and connections in the startup and technology community will help deliver value to BlueYard companies through the following:
- Growing, nurturing, and enhancing BlueYard’s community of entrepreneurs: this includes building peer groups, mentorship and expert networks, and helping founders grow & be more successful via coaching and training.
- Executing internal and external events to develop & expand our founder network including CEO / founder summits, BlueYard Conversations, workshops, and meetups.
- Creating a platform to support our growing network of portfolio leaders and employees beyond the founders: providing connections between the wider BlueYard family from Berlin to the Bay Area to Buenos Aires, both by activating our community online for them and by facilitating offline connections between engineers, designers, marketers and more across our portfolio.
- Building & managing network operations including founder onboarding, platform tools such as CRMs, resource / vendor databases, Slack channels or messaging platforms to automate workflows and provide on-demand resources for our founders.
- Maintaining relationships to key service providers (e.g. executive search firms, law firms, PR, tax advice, audit firms) and connect our portfolio to them.
To succeed in this role we are looking for the following experience and abilities:
- 5+ years of experience at a fast growing startup, large tech company or a venture capital firm.
- Understanding of — and passion for — how startups and ecosystems work.
- Creativity, analytical thinking, and remarkable interpersonal skills to develop and execute on our overall network & community strategy.
- Strong project management skills.
- You should be a proactive self-starter and have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness as it will be critical for your success.
- Investigating and deploying new tools to help us make a broader impact as our portfolio grows.
- You should be resourceful and frequently experiment with new ideas; this means being comfortable operating in an environment with many unknowns and creating services that often start small but can scale to have great reach.
